Frequently Asked Questions:
Depending on the hair, skin type and body area treated, treatments will be needed at 4-12 week intervals. Our therapists will guide you on the individual interval between treatments according to your needs. Each body part has a different growth cycle, so hair reduction will vary depending on what stage your follicles are at the time of treatment.
After each treatment the hair decreases, therefore it is important to complete the course of 6-8 treatments and at regular intervals for best results. We also recommend maintenance treatments every 6 months for permanent hair reduction.
According to current medical recommendations, we cannot perform laser hair removal if you are pregnant.
Pregnant.
Topical numbing creams are neither safe nor effective for laser hair removal. The sensation, during the procedure, is not felt on the skin but in the hair follicle. The numbing cream cannot penetrate deep enough to minimize the discomfort that may be felt in the follicle. Please make sure there are no occlusive creams on the treated areas when undergoing Laser Hair Removal treatments.
GentleLase Pro treatments in combination with the cooling system minimize discomfort during the procedure and no pain relief is required.
